Dr. Michelle Moore completed her undergraduate work at Penn State University where she majored in both Life Science and Spanish. She obtained her M.A. in Communication Sciences from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, before completing her Ph.D. in Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Moore joined the WVU faculty in 2012. Her research focuses on phonological, orthographic, and memory processes in language and literacy for both typical and impaired learning. To study these topics, Dr. Moore has employed basic behavioral, neuroimaging, and neuropsychological experimental techniques.
